( re-bust! ;-) anyway i dont remember what day one is... water? i think... so my goal is to drink my water today! what did you do?
o.k. bye Love Cindy lou who
Hi Cheryl and Cindy- How did your first day go? Did you drink your water? Did you flush out the cheese? One of my favorite quotes from day 1 that Julia said is who you are is not your body. Sometimes I have a hard time remembering that, and am working hard to work on that.
I am glad you are both with me:)
its funny i cant find my life changer but i have been doing a lot of thinking trying to remember all the things i have learned from Julia goulia ( julia goulia is the nick name my sister and i lovingly gave Julia.... see the wedding singer... we give everyone a nick name other wise we would be saying, julia?
julia who? oooooh julia goulia... o.k. now i know who you mean! :-) anyway i remember Julia goulia saying you are not fat, your body may be overweight but you are not your body... it was something about "how would you describe yourself?" the first thing i thought was #1"i'm fat" and i think i was back to that attitude of "i'm fat" but that is not "me"! i think i should go back and edit my discription! there are so many other ways to describe myself other than how much weight i want to lose!!!
Oh no, I hope you can find it. I am in the process of looking for the picture of the life I want. I have so many magaizines, I just want to find the perfect picture. I feel like my picture has changed since the last time I did the LifeChanger. Once I find a new one I will post.
Were you able to find your cd's? Maybe you can just listen to those.
Below are the pictures of the life I want. I am not sure who the woman is in the picture, but when I look at her she seems confident, healthy, and happy. The second picture is of a woman doing yoga. She is strong, confident, and able to deal with stress big or small. These are things that I want to be. And am going to work hard to achieve them.
Hi Everyone,
I took the last 4 days off to really work on getting started. I am drinking lots of water and started to cut out my first food vice- candy. It has been going really well. I got some light exercise in each day and went grocery shopping for some healthier foods. I normally eat healthy at meals and then do a lot of emotional eating through the day- the afternoon really gets me. I usually go for some candy so I made that my first vice. Instead of eating like crazy this afternoon- I plan on having a healthy snack and going for a quick walk.
I find that being at home is easy but I really struggle to get through the work day. So my plan is just to get through this first day back at work.
What a great forum you have going on here! So that you guys know and can spread the word, if someone bought my program in the past, we have record of it and can send them a digitial version of what they bought if they lost it!
Just email support@JuliaHavey.com and ask them to look up your account. If you didn't purchase the whole package, you may have some upgrade fee, but not much, likely you will get the download verison for no charge additional, if you bought previously.
Cheryl's message said it perfectly, SHE PLANNED>...if you PLAN your snacks, workouts etc. you will be fine!
Excellent start Cheryl! Planning is the key.
Having healthy snacks around is key for my success, especially when I come home from work and am hungry. I got plenty apples, bananas, carrots, green peppers, and ff popcorn to snack on.
The vices I am busting is school lunches (they are gross, I do not know why I ate them this school year), and that dreaded fast food that keeps sneaking its way back into my life. So again, planning is the key. I have to plan breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. That way I will not want a quick fix like fast food or school lunches.
My planning really DID work yesterday. I kept myself busy, had a planned snack and made it through the afternoon with no candy.
Once again- I am just going to drink lots of water and try to make it through my work day with no candy (or emotional eating at all).
Lauren- I think meal planning is very important, especially lunches. To save money, I usually always pack my lunch but when I don't pack I end up eating something less healthy and go a little overboard. I think you're right- if you are going to eat some extra calories- I wouldn't waste them on school lunch :)
I do struggle with not getting on the scale to check on the progress.
This time I am telling myself, weighing myself didn't work so well last time I tried to lose weight- so I should try a new approach this time. Don't keep doing something that is not working for you.
I'd like to join the vice-busting group. I've misplaced my ViceBusting package so I emailed support like Julia mentioned. That'll help--to have the materials to work with!
My vice to bust is eating like I do after dinner. I always make progress when I get that under control.
I'll keep checking back--I know how hard it can be to keep an online group going. It would be great to do this with you folks.
Hi Lauren, i just saw the pictures you put up on your slide show!
i love it! also love Julia Goulias "i hope you dance" song on her slide show
( one of my favorite songs! ) so i just want to say "if you get the chance to sit it out or yoga... i hope you YOGA! i hope you yooooo ga ".... ( sung all "i hope you dance" style voice)
o.k. bye Love Cindy lou who
