Hi Cindy Lou,
I went on a short ride today as well. Other than some arthiritis in my knee I am doing okay. If I lost the 30 or so extra pounds I am sure I would feel alot better. Riding is great stress relief and who knows it may burn more calories than sitting around. Enjoy your summer!

Thank you so much for your nice comment! I wish I had a green thumb, too! Especially for roses, as they are my favourite flower. But I am happy to be able to care for my cockatiels, too.
I wish I had a green thumb, I kill any kind of plant that comes my way. I have 1 peonie bush out front that my dad planted that comes up every year, despite my lack of watering. It is blooming right now and it is so beautiful, I love it. Several years ago, I planted all kinds of perenials out front then my brother-in-law decided to surprise us and covered up the front garden with rocks!!!! We had one tulip that came back every year, but this year it finally gave up. (sigh)
Hi Mary, thanks, it has been very stressful. i have been helping to get ready for the funeral so actually getting a lot of excersise but also doing a lot of eating comfort foods...giving up coffee was hard but i found so many new types of teas, green tea, oolong tea, red tea, etc and so many flavored teas that it has been fun trying them all out! there is a website i go to to get tea called www.savvyt.com - they have soooo many great teas! the oolong tea is supposed to be great for weight loss too. i know there is a huge difference between a carmel macchiattio (350 calories) and tea (0 calories!) now if i can just keep away from the stress coffee! i know i can kick that habit agian!!!
I hope the vice busting is going well for you. I'd love to join this online group. I know Julia's program works--my problem is consistency. Group support could make the difference for us.

Sorry about your friend. That can be so stressful.
I'm impressed you were able to switch to green tea. Giving up coffee is hard. Since you did it once, you can do it again!
I'm glad there's a group of us using the program. It's nice to be able to connect with others doing the same thing, having the same struggles.
